Post-production

Post-production statistics

The statistics dashboard answers the questions a post lead asks every week: where's the bottleneck, how much are we shipping, and who's overloaded? It reads the same batches and stages you already work with — no extra data entry.

Key metrics

The page opens with key numbers — throughput to release-ready, cycle time, work in progress, on-time rate — each with a change against the previous period. Pick a period — 7, 30, 90, 180 or 365 days, the current month, or a specific month, year, or custom date range — and optionally narrow to photo or video.

Funnel, cycle time, and team load

A funnel shows how assets fall away stage by stage — how many selects survive retouching, keywording, and so on — and a cycle-time view shows how long batches take, so the slow stage stands out.

A team view shows who completed what — stages done, assets handled, average duration — and where one person is the only one doing a stage. It's for balancing load, not ranking people.

Insights

ShootHive also surfaces written callouts — "retouching is the bottleneck", "this provider rejects 20% of uploads" — turning the charts into a short list of things worth acting on.

Key terms

Throughput
How many batches reach release-ready in a period.
Cycle time
How long a batch takes to move through the pipeline.
Funnel
How assets fall away stage by stage as work progresses.
Bottleneck
The stage that slows the whole pipeline down.

Common questions

Where does the statistics data come from?

From the same batches and stages you already work with — there's no extra data entry.

What does the funnel show?

How assets fall away stage by stage — how many survive each step — so you can see where work is lost or slowed.

Is the team view for ranking people?

No. It shows who completed what to balance load and spot single points of failure, not to rank people.
