Post-production
Post-production is the workspace for everything after the shoot — selecting, editing, and preparing assets, then sending finished media out. It replaces the spreadsheet most teams track this with.
Batches
Work is organized into batches. A batch is a set of assets from one shoot — the selected photos, or the selected clips — that move through editing together. Each batch belongs to a shoot and has an owner, a priority, and a due date.
A batch is for one media kind — photo or video. A single shoot can run both at once, each through its own pipeline. There's one active batch per shoot per media kind, so there's always a single answer to "where are this shoot's photos?"
The pipeline
Every batch moves through a pipeline — an ordered series of stages. A typical pipeline runs: selected, converted, edited (retouching, colour, audio), keyworded, release-ready, and uploaded.
Post-production starts once a shoot is finished. You open a completed shoot, start post-production, and pick the media kind.
The dashboard
The post-production dashboard is the whole workload at a glance, with a strip of key numbers across the top — active batches, assets in the pipeline, blocked, ready for upload, and overdue.
Read it as a table (every batch as a row, with per-stage progress), a kanban board (a column per stage, to see where work piles up), or filter down to just the work assigned to you.
