Post-production

Configuring the pipeline

The pipeline isn't fixed — you shape it to match how your studio actually works. You decide which stages a batch runs through, separately for photo and for video.

What you can configure

Every studio's process is different. If you don't mix audio in-house, switch that stage off; if you have a dedicated colour step, keep it on. You can enable, disable, reorder, and rename stages to the words your team uses.

A few stages are always present — Selected, Keyworded, Release-ready, and Upload. They're the backbone every batch needs; everything between them is yours to shape.

When changes take effect

A batch's pipeline is fixed when the batch is created, so later config changes don't reshape batches already in flight. That keeps work predictable — configure the pipeline before starting a season's batches.

Key terms

Pipeline configuration
The studio-level setup of which stages batches run through.
Mandatory stage
A stage that is always present: Selected, Keyworded, Release-ready, Upload.
Media kind
Photo or video — each has its own configurable pipeline.

Common questions

Can I change the post-production stages?

Yes. Enable, disable, reorder, and rename stages, separately for photo and video — except the few mandatory ones.

Which stages can't be turned off?

Selected, Keyworded, Release-ready, and Upload are always present; everything between them is configurable.

Do pipeline changes affect batches already running?

No. A batch's pipeline is fixed when it's created, so configure it before starting a season's batches.
