Clients

Clients is where you keep the brands, agencies, and in-house teams you produce work for. It's a lightweight CRM — enough structure to hold a client's contacts and history in one place, without a separate sales tool.

What a client holds

A client record carries the customer's name and details, the named contacts you actually deal with, and the work you've done for them.

A client can have several contacts, each with their own email and phone, so the right person is always one click away.

Linking work to a client

Connecting a project to a client ties the work to the customer it's for. Once linked, the project — and the shoots inside it — appear in that client's history.

A client is optional. Internal work — your studio's own content — can simply have none.

Client history

A client's page gathers everything connected to it: its projects and shoots, its contacts, and any attached documents such as contracts. It's the single place to see the whole relationship.

Key terms

Client
The brand, agency, or in-house team the work is for.
Contact
A named person at a client, with their own email and phone.
Client history

Common questions

Do I have to assign a client to every project?

No. A client is optional. Internal work can have none; link one when the work is for an outside brand or agency.

Can a client have more than one contact?

Yes. Add as many contacts as you deal with — each with their own email and phone.

Where do I see everything I've done for a client?

On the client's page, which gathers its projects, shoots, contacts, and documents in one view.
