Document templates
Every document in ShootHive — a model release, an NDA, a contract — is created from a template. You design a template once, and then generate documents from it in seconds.
Fields and signer roles
A template defines two things a document needs. Fields are the blanks filled in per document — a model's name, a shoot date, an address. Signer roles are the parties who must sign — photographer, model, property owner, witness — so the document knows whose signatures to collect.
Versioning
Templates are versioned. As you refine a template over time, documents already created keep the wording they were generated with — so a signed release is always a faithful copy of what its signers agreed to.
Once a document is created from a template, that version is fixed for it. Editing the template changes only future documents, never ones already generated or signed.
