Scheduling
Time off & holds
A personal block is a stretch of time someone is unavailable — on holiday, off sick, or simply not free. Blocks show on the calendar so producers schedule shoots around real availability.
Block types
A block can be a single day or a range, with an optional note. Each has a type: vacation (planned time off), sick (unplanned absence), unavailable (busy for another reason), or other.
Seeing the team's availability
The calendar's team view shows everyone's blocks alongside their shoots, so a producer sees at a glance who's free before booking them.
Producers and managers can record time off for other team members too — useful for keeping a whole crew's availability in one place.
Key terms
- Personal block
